My mom wanted this Kit for her own use and she commented me that it was a very compact and complete kit, she gave good use to all the items.
Customer rating is 1 of 5  Unbelievably bad   2010-03-07

Just because something's made in China doesn't mean it's bad. There are actually a lot of well-made Chinese products. This is not one of them.

One of the key watch tools that is commonly needed is a tiny flat head screwdriver to remove the links in a metal watch band. This kit comes with three flat head screwdrivers. They are all the same size. They are all way too big. They are all useless.

You would think it would be hard to screw up at making screwdrivers, but this company has actually managed to do it. Not only are the screwdrivers in this kit too big, they are also extremely poorly made. One screwdriver's head is chipped. The other two have flat heads that are actually slanted, rather than being perpendicular to the length of the screwdriver.
Customer rating is 4 of 5  "A Nice Starter Set For Working On Your Own Timepieces"   2010-03-07
By Paul Wilmoth (GEARHART, OREGON, US)
I did not expect "a professional's set of watch repair tools", when I purchased this item, simply based on its low pricing figure.
However, for the price of this set of tools, if you are looking for a set of repair tools for that "occasional repair" of your watch, then this particular set offers a good selection of fairly well made tools, at a very affordable price.
The various tools,(i.e. as the pin release tool, the tweezers and picks), are not really made "to exacting standards" or,from the finest metals available, but again "for the price", it is a fairly decent set of tools for doing repairs on watches and even mechanical clocks.
Sadly, there are NO instructions included with this tool kit, so if you are not familiar with watch repair tools and what some items are used for, I'd suggest searching the web for the proper way to use certain tools in this set.
So, for the overall price and for the number of various tools you receive,I would recommend this tool set.
Customer rating is 4 of 5  Pay's for itself.   2010-02-22

I would have given it a 5 star rating except it lacked documentation. However, after replacing 4 batteries, it has paid for itself being that the local place charges $20 to replace batteries.
Customer rating is 5 of 5  Useful tools at a great price. Stop complaining.   2010-02-19

I've read many reviews on this item and as I can understand many people are not as careful or patient when using the "cheap" tools. The pins that break will eventually break after a couple of uses. The pin for the watchband link pin remover bent when trying to remove a pin because I didn't line it up straight. I carefully bent it back and used it 3 more times. It's still working so if you broke it you weren't patient or careful enough. They are delicate items regardless if they are expensive or not. I fixed 7 watches (4 Kenneth Cole, 1 Invicta and 2 Fossil for my wife) all with success and no tools or pins were broken. I changed the length of the metal bands and changed batteries easily and with no problems. The tools I used were the watchband link pin remover, watchband holder, thee spring bar remover, the 3 Pin punches (all different size pins), the metal and plastic hammer and the case knife opener. The other tools are just extras for an "as needed" basis. So for this price it's definitely worth the money. If you're impatient, careless and really don't know what you're doing then don't purchase this item. Pay for a watchmen ($6 minimum) to do the job for you......so then you can then complain about the amount you're paying for one watch to be serviced.
